Reading Overview

Hey Guys!

Have you ever read an entire series of books? Well I've read many and I'm happy to tell you all about them.

Leonis

The first series I want to talk about is Leonis. Leonis starts off as a 14 year old slave who is destined to become the Lion Child. The story goes, the egyptian god of the sun Ra wasn't getting enough offerings from the humans, so he told them that if they didn't deliver him the supreme offering he was going to make the sun stop shining. Of course no human could deliver the supreme offering. Only The Lion Child (Leonis) could accomplished the challenges to get the 12 pieces of the supreme offering and deliver it to Ra. The main characters in this story are: Leonis, Montu (Leonis's Friend), and Menna (Leonis's bodyguard).

Here are the names of the 12 Leonis books I read this year:
  1. Book 1 Le Talisman Des Pharaons
  2. Book 2 La Table Aux Douze Joyaux
  3. Book 3 Le Marais Des Demon
  4. Book 4 Les Masque De L'Ombre
  5. Book 5 Le Tombeau De Dedephor
  6. Book 6 La Prisonnière Des Dunes
  7. Book 7 La Liberation De Sia
  8. Book 8 Les Gardiens D'Outre-Tombe
  9. Book 9 Le Royaume D'Esa
  10. Book 10 L'Ile Des Oubliés
  11. Book 11 Le Temple Des Ténèbres
  12. Book 12 L'Offrande Supreme.
I rate this series an 8 out of 10 because its a great storyline and all but the story is streached out into 12 different books and I think it could've been in 6 books. If you want to check out Leonis go to this link: Leonis

Amos Daragon

If you want to go check out my post on Amos Daragon (my favorite series yet) Go to this link: Amos Daragon

Amos Daragon - Le Sanctuaire des Braves
The Wearer Of Masks (Amos) is trying to defeat the gods in order to bring balance to the world. There are 4 continents and on each continent there is a Mask Wearer. Mask Wearer's control the 5 elements: Fire, Earth, Water, Wind and Ether. After Destroying the gods an old elf Mask Wearer teaches Amos that his fallen friends are lost souls in the endless Ether. So Amos creates Le Sanctuaire Des Brave, a place in the Ether where his fallen friends rest in peace. I rate this short series a 9/10 since it gives the reader an epic ending for the Amos Daragon saga.

Amos Daragon - Al-Quatrum Les Territoire de L'Ombre

This book is basically about all the creatures, races, and monsters of the Earth Continent. This book was made by an elf named Al-Quatrum, because he wanted to make a book with all his knowledge about the different species of super natural beings. I rate this book a 7/10 because its not necessary to get it, but its a book full of fantasy related knowledge.

Les Chevaliers d'Émeraude

This is a series of books about the war between the humans and the insects! Its written by Anne Robillard. The king of insects is to be destroyed by the light keeper and protected by Kira, the daughter of the Amecareth (the king of the insects). Kira is a powerful battle mage but she is protected by Les Chevalier D'Emeraude. Les Chevalier D'Emeraude are princes and princesses who have great magic potential. Their goal: recreate the old order of the Emerald Knights and fight the insects. I've only read the first 6 books but I rate this series a 7/10.

Merlin

All of you probably know Merlin, Arthur's mage, but this story tells another tale. This trilogy tells the tale of a young boy that discovers he has powers beyond his wildest dreams and he wants to use these powers for good. I rate this book a 8/10

Hope you liked this little overview of all the books I've read this year!

Last Amos Daragon Book?

Have I just read the last Amos Daragon? Is it the end?

"I think not1" I said with a French accent.

It all started about 3 days ago. I was really excited because my mom and I were going to buy the third Sanctuaire Des Braves. This book continued the saga, but when I finished reading I thought that there was a lot of room to expand on. I believe that this is the end of Sanctuaire Des Brave, but I think that Bryan Perro (The Author of Amos Daragon) will write new Amos Daragon Books. Why you might ask? Because it couldn't just end when Amos has only completed one of his quests. Plus, the gods are still alive and he still has to maintain the balance in the world.

I believe that any series has to have an epic ending, but this one didn't.

This is why I think that I haven't read the last book. If my theory is wrong, well it was still an amazing Amos Daragon. This latest book, by far, is the best story I've ever read.

Hope you liked this little theory!

Bye!

Book Report: Amos Daragon

As promised I am going to do a book report. The book I'm going to be reviewing is in the Amos Daragon collection. It's the last book before "Sanctuaire Des Braves", it's called "La Fin Des Dieux ". It was written by Brian Perro.

The story takes place in the Earth Continent. The main characters are Amos, Beorf, Lolya and Medusa. Beorf is a human-animal, he can transform into a bear. Lolya is a necromancer with the capability of summoning the undead. Medusa is a marine gorgon, a terror for anything living.

In this quest, Amos needs to get to the portal in order to destroy the gods. The portal is located in Mount Hypperbola, a very cold and and deadly mountain. When he reached the portal, it was heavily guarded by a demi-god. After defeating the demi-god he finally entered. His journey to reach the bottom of the staircase was long until he reached the room he wanted to be in. The other mask wearers were sitting down on chairs with their respective element/weapon. He sat down to enter into contact with the White Lady who created the gods to rest after she created the universe. After about 5 days they all reconnected with the real world. They united their weapons and freed the White Lady. Then they all went out and sealed away the gods once and for all.

I'm wondering if they're going to make more Sanctuaire Des Braves? I can't believe how amazing this series was. I'm looking forward to the next book!

This book is great but confusing if you haven't read the first ones. I highly recommend this series and this book in particular. It's an amazing book so I'm going to have to give it 10/10 stars. Thanks for reading this book report and hope you have a nice day!
